Traditional western psychotherapy and the field of mental health has so far mostly evolved around paradigms of ‘what is wrong with you?’

I am more interested in exploring what is right with you.

We know that whatever we give more attention to grows. So why not give more attention to the things that we know help us feel good? Like supporting each other to feel more love, hope and trust?

I don’t believe our struggles as beings ever mean we are ‘broken’ or need fixing. I do believe they can motivate us to explore our unmet needs or unfulfilled deeper desires, and how we can support ourselves to better meet them.

I also believe that our personal journeys can be greatly supported when we’re met by other beings who can see us and listen to us with curiosity, openness and compassion.

Transpersonal psychology refers to the field of evidence-based science which explores understandings of the mind which go beyond the personal and into the spiritual. We integrate learnings from western psychology models with eastern science and philosophy including teachings of Buddhism, Daoism, yoga, meditation and energy work. We explore modern research into the true nature of consciousness and the self.

This framework understands that we are more than just our minds and bodies. It understands that the ‘I’ which is able to witness our own thoughts and feelings is a profound key to helping us feel less governed by them.

I am also just a fellow human being, growing and evolving on my path.

I can only ever share authentically what I’ve learned through my own experience.
